BOOK KORNER suggestive good reads

The thought of going back to school can be a frightening feeling, especially if it's been a while since you've come out. It's so important that we continue our education to a higher learning, even if it's a lesson in life. We must demonstrate to our kids the importance of not just education but continual learning. I'm not saying that it must be a degree that we are seeking, I'm  merely saying, never stop or give up on learning. If a classroom intimidates you, take an online class or better yet, find something new to learn and teach yourself. I've had the honor of meeting someone whom I think is amongst the smartest guys in this universe. I say this simply because, I've had the opportunity to experience some of his learning process. This man, I'll tell you, is no quitter either. He will not move on to anything else until his mission is totally accomplished with his previous assignment. I've watched him sit for hours in days, studying and practicing until his lesson was thoroughly and skillfully learned. At all times this man kept himself surrounded with a great many of books, and I must say, it seemed he had just as many computers. Perhaps learning a lesson on one, while doing a lesson on the other. He has amused me so with the expansion of the human brain, until I find myself feeling totally lost if I'm without a book or my computer at anytime. He once told me; there's no reason you should be without an answer to anything you would like to know, no matter how great or small...you have all the material you will ever need to learn anything you do not yet know with your great selection of books and your computer, the rest comes with life, no matter how young or how old. It's as simple as that. You must be willing to spend time in class!
